Ford ce da proizvede samo 100 GT350 i samo 37 GT350R (po uzoru na prvi 1965 Shelby GT350R koji je takodje proizveden u toliko primeraka).

Prica se da novi Shelby GT500 stize 2017 godine. Trebao bi da ima 5.0L EcoBoost V8 motor sa oko 740 ks.

Zvanicno potvrdjeno - Shelby GT350 razvija 526 ks i 582 Nm obrtnog momenta (na 8,250 RPM) iz atmosferskog 5.2L V8 motora.
