Te tečnosti za zaptivanje mogu da naprave ozbiljan problem u sistemu koji ne curi nigde, ili curi negde ali jako malo. Ta tečnost će se negde nataložiti i očvrsnuti, ili u hladnjaku, ili u kućištu termostata ili u vodenoj pumpi i tako oslabiti protok vode. Imaj na umu za ubuduće, to služi da kad ti se desi havarija na putu možeš da stigne do kuće ili servisa, ne da je sipaš čisto reda ili probe radi.
