van Gisbergen kaznjen jer je u pit stopu auto spusten sa dizalice pre nego sto su zavrsili sa dolivanjem goriva. van Gisbergen tako pao na 5. mesto, a McLaughlin pobedio. Njegova 9. pobeda u sezoni.
Da se jednom desi da i Fordu sreca malo ide u korst ...

McLaughlin zavrsio kao 2., van Gisbergen kao 4. Zvanicno - McLaughlin je sampion.

Winterbottom je Fordova legenda u Supercars sampionatu. Vozi za Ford od 2003. (njegova 1. sezona), a u FordPerformance/Prodrive/Tickford je stigao 2006. Od tada je pobedio 38 trka, osvojio sampionsku titulu (2015.), jednom zavrsio kao 2., i jos 5 puta kao 3. Pobedio je i Bathurst 1000, najvecu trku Supercar sampionata, 2013.
Posle osvojene titule 2015. sezone nije bas briljirao. 2016. sezone je pobedio samo 2 trke, zadnje 2 godine je bez pobede. Ove sezone samo 1 podijum finis.
Nije poznato gde ce voziti sledece sezone.

Richie Stanaway se nece vracati u Tickford Racing sledece sezone.
Toliko su bila velika ocekivanja od njega, a on zavrsio kao predzadnji.
