My name is Martin, and my location is near the city of Peterborough, which is approximately 80kms due North of London!

I have been restoring Ford cars for very many years, but my current project is a 1982 Granada Ghia.
In fact it was buying a part for this car that led me to your excellent forum, but not in the best circumstances unfortunately .

I recently bought a rare new old stock grille for my Granada on eBay for quite a lot of $$ from a seemingly trustworthy seller with 100% feedback who is from Belgrade. I paid the money immediately but the grille has not arrived, and I have been unable to make any contact with the seller on eBay. The name of the guy I knew to have the grille for sale also didn’t match the name of the person receiving my PayPal payment.
All very worrying and confusing!.

Anyway, to cut short the story, I traced who I think is the guy who sold the grille to your club, and to this forum
So, I have joined the forum, read many interesting posts here via Google Translate, and sent the grille guy a nice message via the forum to ask for his help to clear up this confusion.
But no reply so far.......

My view is that we are all a big worldwide FORD family, so if any members of the club need a reliable and trustworthy contact in the UK to help buy spares that are available here, just ask. I will always try to help fellow enthusiasts.

I'm sorry for bad experience but unfotunatelly that is sometimes inevitable with online and international transactions... you're never 100% safe.
